On 1st August 2020 a group of cyclists set out from Cork to Galway to raise funds in memory of their good friend Paul Giblin. Paul received a bone marrow transplant in St. James’ Hospital and he also had the use of one of the 7 apartments owned by the Trust for the sole use of patients’ and their families who require outpatient care following their transplant. They were joined along the route by various cyclists who helped them arrive, on time, in Galway on 8th August 2020. This wonderful group of fundraisers surpassed their initial target of €10,000 by raising €15,158. Our picture shows Paul’s sister, Anne-Marie and two of his many friends, Kevin Neville and Cian Costelloe when they handed over a cheque from their fundraising efforts. Congratulations to all concerned. This is greatly appreciated by all in the Trust. If you would like to donate to this wonderful Charity, please click on the Contact Us button below.
